Bitumend Asphalt Joint Filler Primer is a modified bitumen emulsion specially designed for micro-trenching reinstatement work. It acts as a bonding agent that seals and secures the Construction Joint Filler (CJF) into narrow slots, improving overall adhesion and extending the life of the repair.

Applications & Use

• Designed for micro trenches 10–25mm wide

• Ideal for use in fibre optic reinstatement

• Works with Bitumend Construction Joint Filler

• For use in asphalt or concrete slots

Preparation & Application

1. Remove all loose debris and dust from the slot

2. Shake bottle thoroughly before use

3. Pour primer into the slot and allow it to settle

4. Apply Construction Joint Filler and compact

5. Primer will work through the CJF to bond edges

Important Notes

• Keep from freezing – must be stored above 0°C

• Best applied above 10°C on dry surfaces

• Stir if stored longer than 3 months

• Drive-over ready depending on temperature and drying
