E-Release is a bio-based, non-toxic and eco-friendly asphalt release agent specifically designed for workers handling hotmix asphalt.

Developed over years of testing, E-Release provides a safe and cost-effective alternative to diesel and other harmful solvents. It works by acting as a surface lubricant on tools and equipment such as shovels, pavers, screeds, hot boxes and rubber roller tyres—preventing bitumen buildup and allowing for easy release of asphalt mix.

Unlike diesel, E-Release does not damage the asphalt mat or affect mix quality. It is water-soluble, biodegradable, and contains no flammable hydrocarbons. Many contractors have reported that workers who previously had reactions to diesel exposure are now safely back on the job using E-Release.
