Aspalt Seal Coat- 20L

Specifications 

Asphalt Seal Coat can only be applied under proper weather conditions
(temperature > 10degrees & RH < 80%). The minimum ground temperature is
5degrees and rising. Maximum group temperature 40dgrees (under 30degrees
preferred) Apply by Special roller or broom. Direct application to the Asphalt.
Coverage is 0.5kg per m2. Do not dilute the product. It will be trafficable after
2 hours or 1 hour after turning black.

Dosage The dosage of Asphalt Seal Coat is predominantly determined by the nature of
the subsurface. The sub surface should be clean, dust free and preferably
slightly moist. Indicative application rate of the material is between 0.5 – 1.0
kg/m2 for a single layer. Depending on the type of surface sealing, the bitumen
film can be sanded by for example 1 – 3 mm sand fractions in order to provide
anti-skid properties. The sand should be applied before the bitumen is
completely precipitated from the emulsion phase.

The coverage depends on the quality of the existing asphalt

Important Note: Driveway Seal must be installed on a warm dry day and not on a cold day that may rain.
